Encyclopedia quiz 1911 is a quiz where you test your knowledge against the Encyclopaedia Britannica 1911 edition. It contains a selection of thousands of only the trickiest words with three explanations for each. You get points for picking the right explanation, and lose for picking the wrong. Its layout is optimized for the small screen of a phone.
It can be played without a network connection on airplanes and in the subway/metro.
Your success will depend both on your general command of arcane knowledge, and a grasp of the particular world view and knowledge level of Britain in 1911. You will read about everything from architecture to Greek gods, to regions of the world and a whole lot more.
